You may have read my post a few weeks ago about the new American Girl Doll of the Year, Kanani. We were so excited to receive Kanani a week or so ago.
She is just beautiful. My daughter immediately noticed that she comes with her own Kukui Nut lei which is really cool because we have several of those lei’s that we brought back from Hawaii during our visit.

*An ocean blue, floral-print dress with a sequined appliqué and a ruffled hem
*A faux hibiscus flower to wear in her long, loose curls

The Kanani doll is 18 inches tall with a soft cloth body. She has hazel eyes and long, loose curls, and her movable head and limbs are made of smooth vinyl. The Aloha, Kanani book is the first story about this cheerful girl who helps others by sharing the aloha spirit of Hawai’i.”
She really is a beautiful doll and she is only around for one year. Now one lucky reader has the chance to win a Kanani doll.

If i got Kanani i would keep her but share with other people and would be responsible.
Also i have bin to Hawii 6times i love Hawii because its sososososo tropical and calm for Vacation.

I would LUV this doll for my younger daughter, who is 6. She is in LUV with American Girl Dolls, and I really wish I could have the money to pay for it.
If I won this doll, I would give it to my daughter who is in her second year’s battle of an eating disorder. All through her life she has found these dolls to be very comforting, especially when things are difficult. Brianna does not think there is much hope, but with the help of American Girl’s inspiring creations, I do see my daughter breaking free from this disease. These dolls give her the stregnth to keep fighting because the characters in the story do not give up. They are so real that it is as if they are as living as she herself, that they have befriended her and always will be there. It’s a long journey, and anyone going through struggles deserves to have a friend by their side. No fight should ever be fought alone.
My favorite thing about hawaii is the sunsets on the beach. All the palm trees. Its beautiful.
