My husband is a gas station shopper. He always has been and frankly it has annoyed me for years because I always thought that gas stations are really more expensive than regular stores.
I rarely stop at gas stations for snacks but since we travel so much, I have found that we are doing this more and more. My kids love to stop at gas stations for snacks and in fact, ask for something every time we gas up the cars.
Recently my son and I were out doing some Christmas shopping when we stopped at Murphy USA so that we could re-energize. We had been shopping for hours and still had hours to go so we needed energy. Some drinks to keep hydrated and some snacks to get us through until dinner later that evening with our family.
My son picked Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Cool Ranch Doritos and some store brand gummy worms that were on sale right by the register.
I picked the Venom Black Mamba Energy Drink:
My son likes the eye from this drink.
I thought that the energy drink was light and refreshing. It wasn’t as heavy or overly sweet as other energy drinks I have tried.
