My daughter is a pretty big Selena Gomez fan. I have to admit that I have also been caught watching Wizards of Waverly Place a time or two when there were no kids in the room. Although I swear they were there when I first started watching the show.
We have also seen a few other movies starring Selena Gomez that my daughter just loves as well. So Monte Carlo is definitely on the list for our must see Summer movies.
For me, I like that my children love watching Disney programming and other shows that star tweens or teens facing everyday situations while doing the right thing (most of the time).
Or in the case of Wizards of Waverly Place, just something so completely out of the realm of possibility but still fun nonetheless. Selena Gomez and many of the stars of the television programming that my young daughter watches, are role models that I feel good about my daughter looking up to.
