What Would Your School do with $10,000? #TrueBlueSchools & Georgia Natural Gas – WIN a Family 4 Pack of Disney on Ice Tickets {3 Winners}

TrueBlueSchools Logo

This is part of a compensated campaign.

It is really important to me to give back to the school that my children go to. I volunteer my time, I serve on committees, I really do give back whenever I can. What is even better is when I can give back by doing something simple.

Georgia Natural Gas has this amazing program called True Blue Schools. This program gives money back to schools from Georgia Natural Gas by simply signing up with your GNG account number.

With $10,000, there are so many things that my school could do. We could update technology, get some more sporting goods, add more books to the library. Lots of things.

Georgia Natural Gas True Blue Schools Banner

TrueBlue Schools is a fundraising program from Georgia Natural Gas that’s similar to other buyer-rewards programs. When you become a Georgia Natural Gas Customer, we donate $5 a month the school of your choice.  Plus, you get a discount – up to 15¢ per therm.

Schools receive a donation checks every quarter. There is no limit to the amount of money schools can receive. The more people that sign up and select your school, the more money your school can receive. GNG will donate up to $60 a year for every person in your school community who chooses GNG and selects your school.

TrueBlueSchools Do the Math and Watch the Donations Add Up - Copy

The program is open to all residential and commercial natural gas users located in the GNG service area. In addition, TrueBlue Schools is open to both existing GNG customers and customers not currently with GNG. Anyone not currently using GNG as their gas provider can easily make the switch and start earning money for your school.

If you sign up just 100 people at your school, you can earn $6000 per year. That $5 per month can add up quickly.

Participants must live in the GNG service area in order to designate your school to receive donations. However, participation is not limited by area – anyone within the GNG service area can sign up and designate your school to receive donations including friends, relatives, grandparents, etc., that may live in another area of the state serviced by GNG.
As long as a customer is active and current with his or her natural gas account, GNG will continue to make donations to your school.

Absolutely not! The monthly donation of $5/month is not added to your gas bill and it doesn’t cost anything to sign up for the TrueBlue Schools program. GNG’s rates will not be raised to pay for this program or donations. We’re proud to offer competitive fixed and variable price plans and the expertise to help you make an informed choice about which plan is right for you.

TrueBlueSchools Goal Meter

Since 2008, the TrueBlue Schools Program has helped more than 1,000 schools across the state earn close to $2 million to help pay for things like books, art supplies, music and science programs, classroom technology and anything else schools need. Schools have earned $5,000 in a matter of months, $10,000 in a year and more than $40,000 over the life of the program.

Top 10 earning TrueBlue Schools include High Schools, Middle Schools, Elementary Schools, both public and private. TrueBlue Schools donations can be used for anything the school chooses, including books, art supplies, music instruments, sports equipment, classroom technology, field trips or anything else the school needs.
