Garden Spot Village

Is Grandpa getting antsy? Does your Grandma need an activity to do during the day? Or are your grandparents at the age where they need a permanent home?

There comes a time in the lives of many seniors when they are no longer able to take care of themselves or they want to be in a community of other like minded individuals.

Whatever their needs are, you should check out these Pennsylvania retirement communities or even search for one in your own community. A community like this can serve the needs of your loved ones with a caring and compassionate environment.

Garden Spot Village is a non-profit community that gives seniors a sense of belonging from the moment they arrive. There are tons of activities that residents can take part in allowing them to live an active lifestyle.

There are an endless amount of activities available to residents on a daily basis. There are 104 acres on the campus along with a store, gardens, pools, whirlpool, fitness area, many dining options, a chapel / auditorium, a great village square and a cobble stoned main street.

This is the perfect opportunity for seniors to live on their own yet have healthcare available where they live.  This allows people to keep their dignity yet live their own lives and participate in the activities that they want. There are many different types of health care options including constant, round the clock care, daily check ins and even assisted living. There is definitely something for everyone.

There are more & more of these retirement villages popping up all over . I actually think it is a very good idea. (if they are moderately priced)
Alot of older folks just can not keep up with home ownership, and it wears them down- maintenance such as mowing/shoveling , home repairs are no longer a worry.
Also, with so many children having moved out of state, it gives a sense of community back to them- they have folks around with similiar experiences & activity levels.
Great post- and I hope there are more built within the average seniors price range!
